Joy naahhh... i'm just playing. i'm not really worried about getting older. i know that i'll still be the same michelle (or mhel to almost everyone who knows me) even when i'm 50 - well, physically, no, but y'know what i mean.
but aside from tomorrow being my "special day", another year in my life, there are a lot of things that need celebrating this year:
- my nanay's successful operation and recovery
- the good news we got from my nanay's doctor regarding her condition
- me and my partner, maimai, are together again, after being apart for 3 months
- me and maimai are planning our lives together... hopefully we'll be flying to malaysia anytime soon (i'm crossing my fingers!!)
- my nanay already knows about me and maimai... and she's taking it well... and i believe it's gonna get better every day (crossed fingers ulit)
- financially, we're better this year. we have a new house... and we started a new life this year. kahit wala pang kisame 'tong bahay namin, mas masaya kami dito. although we're still having problems as a family, we're coping up well.
those are just a few of the things i wanna thank God for on the eve of my 26th year on earth. so i'm not really worried about my getting older. even though this will be the first time that i won't host a big party, with all of my friends and not-so-close people, lasingan, kantahan 'til the wee hours of the day, i still feel very glad that i'll be spending my birthday with my family and the closest people to my heart - maimai, my best friends jasmin, tolents, siangs and saji (hopefully she'll be able to join us later). i can't ask for more!
my birthday wish? matanggap sana kami ni maimai sa malaysia. trabaho na lang kulang... we're officially partners for life na.
